Owls take time to hold youth clinic for Boca Braves Tackle Football

We are getting bogged down in the tough part of training camp. This week there are three two-a-days and the adenaline of the start of camp is long gone.

Maybe that's why when kids from a Boca Raton Pop Warner program showed up after practice on Tuesday, FAU players had smiles as big as the kids that were running through drills.

My favorite part was when one of the coaches said that he thought one of the kids had put on FAU gear and then pointed to walk-on receiver Robert Lohnes. Lohnes is generously listed at 5-foot-6, 140-pounds but may have been an inch or two shorter by some of the older kids who were out there.
